■ Le Trésor de la Laubière

En 1893, deux jeunes bergers de Bénévent et Charbillac, commune des hautes-Alpes, en France, s'amusant à creuser des trous, découvrirent à Pra-la-Peyre près du hameau de la Laubière, un trésor qui fera briller bien des yeux pendant quelques jours avant d'être identifié comme datant de l'âge du Bronze. Enfoui sous une mince couche de terre - 15cm - il était situé au beau milieu d'une prairie alpestre située à 1.300 mètres d'altitude.

Vous pouvez admirer ce trésor au proche Musée de Gap.

⌘ Le Trésor de la Laubière

En 1893, deux jeunes bergers, s'amusant à creuser des trous, découvrirent à Pra-la-Peyre, près du hameau de la Laubière, un trésor qui fera briller bien des yeux pendant quelques jours avant d'être identifié comme datant de l'âge du Bronze.

Enfoui sous une mince couche de terre - moins de 15cm - il était situé au beau milieu d'une prairie alpestre située à 1.300 mètres d'altitude.

Ce trésor comprenait une superbe ceinture en bronze de 90cm de long, 132 pièces diverses et autres pendeloques complétant et ornant cette ceinture. Ils trouvèrent aussi nombres d'objets de bronze liés à cette ceinture.

L'ensemble est devenu propriété du Musée de Gap vers 1920.

Si La Lauberie, lieu où fut fait cette découverte semble bien isolé, de nombreux chemins passaient proches pour mener soit à Saint-Bonnet, soit vers Embrun ou Chorges, via les différents cols du Champsaur.

Ce trésor est exposé au musée départemental à Gap et vous pourrez l'y admirer.
