RU - Depuis la nuit des temps, les animations de celles qui furent paroisses, villages, bourgs ou villes puis devinrent nos communes actuelles ponctuent la vie de leurs habitants. Плуарнель, comme toutes nos communes voit des animations se dérouler sur son territoire ; elles sont foires ou marchés et ponctuent la vie communale.

◎ Легенда

Une brave femme d'Accolay ou de ses environs, en département de l'Yonne et en des temps anciens avait deux coqs, braves et belles bêtes. Un rebouteux refusé pour traiter l'entorse de sa fille ensorcela les coqs par vengeance : ils ne chantaient plus au lever du soleil.

Ne sachant que faire, elle se rendit chez le maître d'école qui lui conseilla de leur faire avaler du froment cueillit au lever de lune. La femme usa du conseil et fit avaler ce froment à ses coqs. Dès le lendemain, les coqs, dressés sur leurs ergots, reprenaient leurs bonnes habitudes et réveillaient la maisonnée à la pointe du jour.

RU - Ulrich de Zell - Prêtre - X° siècle

Ulrich, aussi Udalric, fut le premier Saint canonisé par Rome sous le règne du Pape Jean XV ; c'était en l'an 993. Né vers 890 à Zell, près de Zürich, il redigera les Constitutions de la Réforme de Cluny sur demande de son ami, Saint Hugues.

Il est très populaire en Autriche, Alsace et nord de l’Italie. Après une vie bien occupée, il s'éteint nonagénaire à Augsbourg en l’an 973.
