Ce corps, des Grâces si chéri,
Grand chef-d'œuvre de la nature,
Gît dedans cette sépulture.
L'éclat du beau sexe est péri,
Nos yeux ont perdu leurs délices,
Car la mort, sur des artifices,
Pressants, inconnus et divers,
Élevant sa noble conquête,
À fait un simple squelette,
Du plus beau composé qui fut en l'univers.

L'Espine a vu mourir sa fleur,
Dans la tendresse de son âge,
Mais sans recevoir du dommage,
Car ses beautés par la douleur,
Jamais ne parurent éteintes,
Et parmi ses vives atteintes,
Jamais on ne vit abattu,
Ce cœur d'invincible constance,
Son mal fit voir sa patience,
Ainsi que sa santé nous fit voir sa vertu.

Cette épitaphe anonyme nous laisserait à penser qu'Isabeau est morte relativement jeune. Elle se maria en 1635 avec François-Marie de Suarez qui devint seigneur d'Aulan.
