Quand sont nées nos foires et marchés ?

Il est impossible de répondre pour la plus grande majorité d'entre eux et Carnac n'échappe pas à ce constat laissant la question toujours sans réponse ou presque.

Probablement que nos aïeux, en des temps très lointains, se rencontèrent pour quelques échanges en des lieux particuliers, puis s'y retrouvèrent à intervalles devenant de plus en plus réguliers ; les vents de l'histoire ont emporté cette mémoire dans leurs tourments pour nous laisser foires et marchés toujours passionnants. Si quelques foires et marchés ont dates connues ; il semble que cela soit surtout officialisation de marchés existants.
