Originaire de Savoie, cette chanson fut retrouvée dans un manuscrit de la Bibliothèque Nationale par Gaston Paris en 1903. Son texte original est en arpitan ; la version française est en regard. La mérande est le goûter savoyard à ce que nous avons pu retrouver mais ce sens nous est un peu abscons ; un sens coquin ?
