Il décèdera le 26-06-1919 à Saint-Génis-Laval ; il avait 24 ans.

Mort pour la France en 1914-1918, mort de maladie contractée en service, il était caporal au 5° RIC° Régiment d'Infanterie Coloniale.

Lors de son incorporation militaire, il était mécanicien.
